That time I was possessed….

And The Scariest Places on Earth wanted me to go back and do it again. So I did.

They took some creative license with it. But it’s random and interesting.

I love my life.

The first part of the story happened to someone else. Another actress who wasn’t available for the shoot so they had ME play her. So they got a bit creative there. And the seance wasn’t actually filmed, we did a re-enactment – more creative license.

At one point, we were shooting in an abandoned part of the hotel at night and I passed my hand through a spot that felt like ice. It was August, in Death Valley Junction. Which means it was about 108 degrees. There was no electricity in that part of the hotel, so no explanation for an icy spot. Other than, you know….ghosts.

My husband Harry Johansing came out to set to visit.

We took a couple of photos in the lobby of the Amargosa Inn. (So weird having brown eyes in that film!) We may have had another presence in one of the photos. My hair was short and blonde at the time we filmed this and I had a lot of fun wearing the curly dark brown wig – I STILL have the same wig 20 years later and will wear it on occasion for fun!

 

The movie that we were shooting had a working title of The Devil’s Playground and of course ended up being called Stripshow. We made our own Ouija board that time I was possessed, but you can get one here at Amazon if you like, and allow me to earn a small commission. Thanks!
